Another Message from Our Friend, the Bright Yellow Golf Ball

Dear Friends,

I’m back again, and I’ve been talking with my dear friend, Putter, about #GivingTuesday. I have some oh so exciting news to share with you.

First, Putter didn’t know anything about this national giving movement. I told with him that #GivingTuesday is a day for giving back.

Around Thanksgiving there are 2 days for getting great deals while shopping (Black Friday and Cyber Monday), and right afterwards, there is a day for giving back (#GivingTuesday).

For this year’s #GivingTuesday on December 2, 2014, Lakeside’s introducing an initiative that supports recreation and will be collecting donations to enhance the miniature golf course for next summer. It’s a way for people of all ages to help support this Lakeside tradition.

To make #GivingTuesday even better, a special Lakeside family has stepped forward to give a $30,000 challenge gift to help with the project. They are challenging each of us to give and invite a friend to give a donation to support the miniature golf project.

Putter was so excited about the news, he wanted to know how he could support upgrades to the miniature golf course. He has already given an online donation towards #GivingTuesday. Will you join Putter and me by giving a gift on December 2, 2014?

Thanks to you and the support of your friends, we will all soon be enjoying an amazing experience on a refreshed miniature golf course.

Thanks for your support,

Your friend, the Bright Yellow Golf Ball
