The Lakeside Symphony comes to Town

2024924895 Inspired by the Lakeside Symphony Orchestra (LSO), The Lakeside Symphony Comes to Town is the portrayal of the various musicians in the LSO and the town that becomes their home during the summer season.

The Lakeside Symphony Comes to Town is available for purchase online. The book will also be available at The Fine Print bookstore this summer. Proceeds from sales of the book will be donated to the LSO.

What the Rafters Heard

Rafters_HeardWhat the Rafters Heard is the second printed work from the Lakeside Writing Project. The book tells the story of what the rafters in buildings around Lakeside have heard over the last 140 years through a collection of short stories, poetry, photos and more.

All printed works in the book were submitted by Lakeside community members this past summer.  What the Rafters Heard is available online.  The book will also be available next summer at The Fine Print bookstore.

Lakeside Rascals

Lakeside_RascalsLinda Smith is selling her book, Lakeside Rascals. The story involves two friends who find fun in Lakeside.

This book may be purchased before Christmas by emailing your name and address to walrusandwife@roadrunner.com. Shipping is an additional $4.The book will also be available at The Fine Print bookstore this summer. Profits from book sales will go to the Lakeside Fund to support the Rhein Center.
