How did you hear about Lakeside? My family has been coming to Lakeside since as long as I can remember. I worked here as a Gate Ambassador last summer and I was looking for another way to spend my time here at Lakeside this summer.
What are you most looking forward to this summer? I’m looking forward to a relaxing summer by the lake and getting to know all the other interns working here.
What do you hope to gain from this experience? I hope to gain more experience in customer service on a professional level, while interacting with customers on a personal basis.
Name one goal you hope to achieve this summer? A goal of mine this summer is to be more comfortable interacting with customers, and taking initiative when accomplishing tasks.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time? I enjoy reading, watching TV, going for bike rides, and spending time with my family and friends.
What is one of your proudest moments you have achieved thus far in life? One of my proudest moments was this past school year. I was chosen to be a student coordinator for a mission trip to Ecuador this past May though my school, John Carroll University.
What is your dream job? My dream job would be somewhere where I know I’m making a difference in someone else’s life. I always want to put others before myself.
Tell us a fun fact about yourself. I have traveled out of the country for the last 5 years in a row: Spain in 2011, Italy in 2012, Jamaica in 2013, Italy in 2014, and Ecuador in 2015.

How did you hear about Lakeside? My family has had a summer place in the area for years. My sister use to work at the waterfront as a sailing instructor and encouraged me to apply to the intern program.
What are you most looking forward to this summer? Being able to participate in the variety of events and activities Lakeside has to offer along with getting to know the people working, visiting and living in Lakeside.
What do you hope to gain from this experience? I hope to gain more knowledge about the hospitality industry, while improving my skills in customer satisfaction, communication and more.
Name one goal you hope to achieve this summer? I hope to improve my customer satisfaction skill, such as handling guest complaints.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time? During the summer I love to partake in a variety of water activities, such as swimming, boating and kayaking. During the winter, I enjoy going skiing.
What is one of your proudest moments you have achieved thus far in life? Being accepted into the Accounting Program in the Eli Broad College of Business at Michigan State University.
What is your dream job? My dream job would be to work for Disney and be able to use my accounting background, along with the knowledge I learn from my hospitality internship and my love for event planning.
Tell us a fun fact about yourself. I used to love pugs so much that I had a pug wallpaper border in my room.
