Lakeside Chautauqua will host a Farm to Table Fundraiser Dinner at 6:30 p.m. Friday, July 31 on the Hotel Lakeside lawn.
This unique event, in partnership with local farmers and restaurants, will bring fresh ingredients for a spectacular meal along Ohio’s Most Beautiful Mile. Locally-grown foods from a 50-mile radius will be featured.
Tickets for the Farm to Table Fundraiser Dinner are $75 for adults and $25 for children (age 13 & under). Limited tickets are available. Purchase tickets at the Legacy House, located at 217 Walnut Ave., between 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Friday.
Proceeds from the Farm to Table Fundraiser Dinner will benefit the continued preservation of the Hotel Lakeside, which celebrates its 140th anniversary this summer.
In addition to the dinner, there will be complimentary Cooking Demonstrations from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Friday, July 31 along Ohio’s Most Beautiful Mile.
Wesleyan Senior Living’s Executive Chef, Warren Dolata, will make fresh corn pancakes with lox style cured salmon, crème fraiche (homemade sour cream) and chives. He will also teach easy techniques to make the most out of the summer’s produce and live a healthy lifestyle. Attendees will have an opportunity to sample his creations.
For the second demonstration, Chef Stacy Maple, of the privately-owned Chef Stacy Maple, LLC, and Cincy McClung, of My Mother’s Market, will demonstrate how to use fruits and vegetables in a unique way. Fresh and tasty treats will be provided.
