a1Summertime is here, and so are a variety of colorful handbags at Lakeside. The perfect handbag is a statement and not just a place to store your Chautauqua Pass, wallet or phone as you browse the downtown business district.

Lakeside shops have a selection of completely original and handmade bags.

a3First, Marilyn’s and Marylin’s Two feature these mono-colored handbags with a leather feel, without the leather price tag. They have various pockets inside to put all of your Lakeside souvenirs. These chic handbags are priced at $50.

Joseph Wise Fine Clocks, a unique store with worldly fashions, is also known for its beautiful handbags. Their pastel-colored bags with a metal strap match a variety of sundresses, perfect for a summer wedding. These woven bags are priced at $30.

a5Miss Mercedes, a store that is mostly known for its very chic Vera Bradley collection, is the perfect place to shop for your handbag needs, whether you’re looking for a small clutch, giant beach bag or anything in between!

a6These classic Vera Bradly bags range between $40-$100.

The Shade Tree is a big, fun store featuring, gifts, cards, souvenirs, handbags and more. The floral tote pictured is very soft and also folds for when you are on the go. The store also has small cross-body purses and giant bags to store all of your Lakeside goodies. This bag is priced at $50.

a7The Fine Print bookstore offers a wide range of books for both adults and youth. Next time you’re stopping by to pick up a new beach read, purchase a tote for you and your little Lakesider. These colorful totes cost $6-$12.
