Earn Money for Lakeside by Shopping Online

Staff Blogger: Allyson Lane, Advancement & Communications Assistant

This year, use Amazon Smile and Giving Assistant to support Lakeside by simply shopping online like you already do. It’s no extra cost to you, and you can help support the Chautauqua experience from the comfort of your couch.

Amazon Smile

When you shop using Amazon Smile, Amazon donates 0.5% of your purchase to the non-profit of your choice. Select Lakeside at smile.amazon.com or by using our link to start earning money for Lakeside. Get started and sign in to your Amazon account!

Giving Assistant

Giving Assistant saves you money with promo codes and cashback offers from more than 3,000 online retailers, including Target, Walmart, Macy’s and more. Giving Assistant lets you donate all or some of your earned cash back to the non-profit of your choice. To get started, visit Giving Assistant and create an account. From there, choose Lakeside as your non-profit and the percentage you would like to donate. Then, search the online retailers, shop as you normally would and your earnings will automatically be donated to Lakeside.

Gifts through Amazon Smile and Giving Assistant are not tax-deductible like a direct donation because Lakeside can’t see who is shopping. It’s just a simple way for you to help support Lakeside. For questions about Amazon Smile or Giving Assistant, contact advancement@lakesideohio.com or (419) 798-5396.
