Lakeside Chautauqua has launched a pilot program to offer professional development graduate credit based on participation in educational and cultural arts programs at Lakeside each week this summer. This opportunity is designed for educators needing to renew teaching licenses and/or gain professional development credit, which will be issued through Lake Erie College.

The Lakeside Chautauqua Recreation Department has a full schedule of special events planned for the 2014 summer. Guests and residents are invited to participate in all events. From the Annual 5k Raccoon Run and the Sailing Regatta, to the Kelleys Island Swim and triathlons, Lakeside is working to provide athletes with a variety of recreational opportunities.
